TVK GEMİ YAPIM SANAYİ ve TİCARET A.Ş.
TVK GEMICILIK VE DANISMANLIK A.S. was established by Mr. Can TOPSAKAL and Mr. Naim KOCER pin March 2003. The company started the building with a partnership with TORGEM SHIPYARD in Tuzla where three vessels of various deadweight and purposes have been built those being M/T Minorque (1.500 Dwt),M/T Majorque (3.300 Dwt) and Ex-M/T Aziz TOPSAKAL (M/T Lilac 5.850 Dwt).
Although TVK Gemicilik ve Danismanlik itself is quite a young company, the members and engineers of TVK are highly-qualified individuals with years of experience and have established their careers in some of the more well know shipyards of Turkey.
Initially prior to establishing their own Shipyard‚ TVK GEMICILIK VE DANISMANLIK A.S. rented the facilities of existing Shipyards of the Tuzla Shipbuilding region and operated as an independent turnkey Shipbuilder.
Afterwards Mr. Can TOPSAKAL and Mr. Naim KOCER decided to build his own shipyard in Kocaeli Free Zone and soon established a new company called TVK GEMI YAPIM  in May 2005.
TVK GEMI YAPIM currently has two offices spone is located in Istanbul along the Bosphorus in the area of Bebek while the other one is located in Izmit at the new shipyard.
TVK GEMI YAPIM Shipyard has been subject to heavy capital investment so far exceeding an amount of 40.000.000 USD. The Shipyard covers a span of 50.000 m2 and is operational since 2 years. The Shipyard is capable of building Vessels between the sizes of minimum 1 500 DWT up to about 30.000 DWT.
TVK SHIPYARD has started to build a series of 6 x 15.000 Dwt Oil Product Chemical Tanker IMO II (based on a proven Vessel M/T ADOUR). The first vessel of this series has been delivered in December, the second in April 2008.Three vessels of this series belong to the Spanish Shipowners EMPRESA NAVIERA ELCANO.
Since the start TVK SHIPYARD has improved its production, the Shipyard delivers ship every four months.
